Qualifications and Responsibilities for Mariadb Database Administrator:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline required
- 5 years of experience with MariaDB required
- 3 years of experience with Oracle required
- Strong relational database knowledge, troubleshooting, and performance tuning require
- Thorough understanding of the Linux operating system and Linux shell scripting required
- Thorough understanding of database backup and recovery concepts required
- Experience with enterprise monitoring tools such as SQL Diagnostic Manager for MySQL and Oracle Enterprise Manager or similar tools
