Role Overview : As a Field Technician specializing in Fiber Installation and Quality Control, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the integrity and performance of our fiber optic infrastructure. Your expertise will ensure that installations meet stringent quality standards and provide our customers with unparalleled service.
Key Responsibilities :
Direct and follow the installation of fiber optic cables, ensuring adherence to industry and company-specific standards.
Conduct thorough inspections and testing of installed fiber systems to validate performance.
Collaborate with engineering and construction teams to address and resolve installation challenges promptly.
Maintain accurate records of installation processes, test results, and quality assessments.
Ensure all installation activities comply with safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications :
Minimum of 2 years in fiber optic installation and quality control.
Hands-on experience with reading specs and verifying the correct plans are followed.
Ability to effectively communicate technical information to team members and stakeholders. Bilingual English / Spanish highly desired.
Demonstrated aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues in the field.
