S3, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Field Artillery Launcher Liaison to support on-going efforts at Red River Army Depot, TX.
Military experience is a plus. This is not a teleworking position.
The Strategic and Operational Rocket and Missile (STORM) PMO serves as the Liaison at Red River Army Depot (RRAD). In this capacity, manage and coordinate the MLRS A2 Fleet Expansion Program, the MLRS Overhaul Programs, and the HIMARS RESET Programs for the STORM PM Office. Coordinate all Systems Modifications and Modification Programs for all active STORM Programs at RRAD in preparation for STORM Fielding Requirements as directed by DA.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, plan, and coordinate RRAD Shop Production Schedules to meet DA requirements.
- Develop cost estimates, research and review Technical Drawings, develop Shop Work Instructions (SWI) and maintain a monthly Care of Supplies in Storage (COSIS) Program on all Program vehicles stored and maintained at RRAD.
- Provide training, training aids, and guidance on shop vehicles as required by shops.
- Coordinate all of the RRAD Fleet Expansion efforts at RRAD for the M270A2 integration efforts, a critical endeavor by the FAL PO and PM STORM.
- Work independently at RRAD on all technical, financial, and mechanical aspects and issues for resolution.
- Entrusted by the FAL Product Office to make program decisions on site at RRAD, as required.
- Coordinate with and/or through BAE, Lockheed Martin (LM), and STORM Engineers on Request for Variance (RFV), Engineering Change Proposals (ECP) and Red-Line Drawing changes.
- Implement and monitor all changes on the Shop Floor to ensure compliance with all Technical Data and Manuals for users in the field.
- Participate in all Vehicle Production Unit Test (PUT) to address non-conformance issues before vehicles are shipped to the System Integrator LM, Camden, and AR.
- Receive integrated vehicles from LM Camden and coordinate a Receipt Inspection Process to detect any deficiencies that result from a full scale operation of the tactical vehicle.
- Coordinate deficiencies through LM, STORM, and RRAD for corrective repair prior to DA Fielding.
Education requirements:
Master's degree and 8 years of relevant experience, a Bachelor's degree and 10 years relevant functional experience, or HS and 14 years of relevant experience.
Required Experience:
- Must be a highly skilled and extremely knowledgeable individual who has comprehensive knowledge of State of Work (SOW) areas and performs specialty engineering or analysis.
- Be able to carry out complex or novel assignments and perform work of specialized nature.
- Acts as resource for colleagues with less experience.
- Requires conceptual and practical expertise in own discipline and basic knowledge of related disciplines.
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others, able to utilize, operate and analyze complex systems.
- Must have background at Red River Army Depot in Tech Data, equipment repair, maintenance, electronics, mechanical hardware, and system modification implementation.
