S³, Inc. is seeking a senior Staff Assistant to support the C Suite Executives at our corporate HQ in Cummings Research Park, Huntsville, AL.
This is not a teleworking position.

Description:
This Staff Assistant performs high-level administrative support to the C Suite Executives and corporate headquarters departments of a federal contractor. Plans and conducts assigned administrative tasks and projects which are broad in nature. Applies independent judgment and originality in the solution of problems. May supervise other supporting staff. May supervise lower level employees.
Responsibilities:
- Creates a variety of documents and correspondence, processes corporate forms, performs data entry, establishes and maintains records.
- Assists in task order proposal text writing, creates meaningful graphics, consolidates reviewer comments, proofreads proposals, and assembles written and electronic proposals for delivery.
- Receives and processes standard materials appropriate to assigned department.
- When appropriate, resolves complex administrative problems and answers inquiries concerning activities and operations of department/division.
- Receives inquiries and requests from the general public and business community, through friendly, professional customer service skills, ascertains the customer's needs and provides appropriate assistance and information; responds to escalated customer service issues.
- Performs a range of staff and/or operational support activities; may serve as a liaison with other departments on basic administrative and/or operational matters.
- Works with Corporate purchasing agent to stock and distribute office supplies.
- Performs standard, routine bookkeeping functions, which may involve general billing and cash receipt and accounting activities.
- Performs other duties as directed.
Qualifications:
- Total of 15 years related team leadership or administrative management, and five (5) years of experience at the federal contractor corporate level supporting senior-level executives. Self-starter, research intuitive, team leader.
- Eight (8) years of military experience, of which four (4) were in leadership roles, is a plus.
- Performed under a quality management system based on ISO/AS9100 certification or similar quality management system.
- Skilled at level 4 out of 5 with Microsoft Suite software (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).
- Experience in a human resources-related role, including recruiting, and Benefits for a federal contractor is a plus.
- Ability to work 50 hours/week - as needed.
- Experience with Costpoint accounting is a plus.
- Secret Clearance or the ability to obtain one.
