The Technology Portfolio VP (Chief Technology Officer) role, in collaboration with the Chief Digital and Information Officer and the Senior Executive Leadership team, is accountable for providing the right technology vision, strategy and roadmap to enable the organization’s digital health transformation ambitions. This individual is accountable for identifying key emerging trends and technologies, evolving the architecture to support new, emerging technologies, and modernizing the infrastructure. The Technology Portfolio VP will lead most or all of the organization’s technology innovation, and infrastructure activities as well as contribute to the corporate initiatives such as sustainability, social determinants of health, and equality.
The Technology Portfolio VP role is a technology visionary and change agent for IT, providing leadership to groups that include enterprise architects, senior product managers, expert technology specialists and professionals in shared Digital Health and Technology services. This individual leads teams that architect the required digital initiatives of IT innovations. As a member of the Senior Leadership Digital Health and Technology team, the Technology Portfolio VP drives technology innovation and transformation in Digital Health and Technology, leads Agile/DevOps teams, leads cloud transformation initiatives, and brings newer technologies into the organization (such as artificial intelligence) in coordination with the other Senior Digital Health and Technology Leadership team members.
Minimum Level of Experience Required: 7 - 10 years of job related experience
Prior job title or occupational experience: Technology Management, CIO, CTO, Technology VP or Director.
Prior specific functional responsibilities: : Innovation, Entrepreneur, Operations Leadership, IT leadership, Digital Leadership
Preferred experience: Digital Leadership or IT Leadership
Other experience requirements: Proven leadership of successful transformation initiatives; understanding of core business and clinical processes and their associated technology solutions; written and verbal communications; presentation skills; change management; Lean or Six Sigma experience; and critical problem-solving and design
