The Evaluation and Assessment Coordinator - Elementary School is a vital and supportive member of the PCSD team, working collaboratively with educators, support staff, and administration to achieve the shared goal of ensuring all students receive the education they need to succeed both today and tomorrow. This role is performed within a school environment, overseen by the school principal, where teamwork and dedication to student success are paramount.
All staff are expected to fully adhere to the ethical standards set forth by the Georgia Professional Standards Commission, continuously demonstrating a strong understanding of the tasks and responsibilities their roles require. Primary Function: Knowledge of the state teacher evaluation instrument. Proficiency required in oral and written communication, interpersonal relations, and competency in organizing, planning, and evaluating programs. Ability to implement under the direction and leadership of the school principal, the district's evaluation, and assessment instruments. |

Qualifications:
Must hold or be eligible for Georgia Level 5 Certificate in Educational Leadership (Tier I) and be actively pursuing the L-6 in Administration and Supervision |
Must have a strong educational background with a minimum of three (3) years of successful teaching experience |
*Must have good organization and communication skills |
The Board of Education and the Superintendent may accept alternatives to some of the above requirements.
Essential Functions:

Conducts evaluations of teachers |

Supports the student evaluation process |

Provides training and support related to the teacher assessment performance standard system |

Provides training and support for the state teacher evaluation and performance platforms |

Assists in providing school based professional learning |

Provides support to staff related to student assessment data |
|
Provides support and training for the student assessment data management system |
|
Other duties as assigned by the principal or supervisor |
