Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Controls Engineer to join our team at System7, Inc. As a Controls Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems that meet our high standards for safety, economy, reliability, repeatability, sustainability, and quality.
Your primary responsibilities will include designing, programming, developing, and maintaining electrical and electronic systems, modifying existing designs, products, control systems, creating examples and models of products and systems, identifying customer needs, and developing solutions based on System7's approach to systems design.
You will research correct solutions, estimate project timescales, and costs, monitor and troubleshoot control systems, provide clear project direction through good interpersonal communications, evaluate engineering designs, transform electrical drawings into design specifications, install and program computer hardware and machine software in microprocessor-based systems, and fabricate mechanical, electrical, and electronic works and assemblies.
