Job Title: Oracle Cloud ERP (Integration/Report Developer) – Senior Technical Consultant
Location: Hybrid – Newark, NJ
Employment Type: 1099 Contract
Pay Rate: $65-70/hr
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Senior Technical Consultant with expertise in Oracle Cloud ERP integrations and reporting. The ideal candidate will have deep technical knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), VBCS, OTBI, BIP, SOAP, REST, and PL/SQL. The consultant will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and deploying Oracle Cloud ERP solutions, integrating with legacy systems, and extending Oracle Cloud ERP functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oracle ERP Integration & Development:
- Develop and deploy Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) integrations between Oracle Cloud ERP and legacy systems.
- Work with SOAP, REST APIs, FBDI, ADFDI, and ESS Jobs for integrations and automation.
- Implement middleware solutions and orchestration development.
- Configure and implement RICEW (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows) components.
2. Report Development & Customization:
- Design and develop BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, and BICC reports.
- Create dashboards and data visualizations for business intelligence needs.
- Work with Fusion APIs, value sets, and lookups to optimize reporting.
3. Customization & Extensions:
- Develop custom pages and UI enhancements using VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service).
- Customize Oracle Cloud ERP pages using sandbox environments.
- Implement Fusion ERP Flex Fields (DFF, EFF, KFF) and other customization techniques.
4. Data Management & Migration:
- Handle data conversions, migrations, and extractions using Oracle tools and methodologies.
- Develop SFTP-based integrations and automated file transfers for secure data exchange.
5. Technical Documentation & Collaboration:
- Create Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), design specifications, and technical architecture.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, business stakeholders, and IT teams to analyze requirements and provide solutions.
- Maintain detailed technical documentation for integrations and reports.
6. Code Review & Best Practices:
- Conduct code reviews to ensure coding standards and best practices are followed.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience working with Oracle Cloud ERP integrations.
- Strong expertise in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and Fusion ERP.
- Hands-on experience with SOAP, REST, FBDI, ADFDI, and ESS Jobs.
- Proficiency in Oracle BI Publisher (BIP), OTBI, and BICC reports.
- Experience with VBCS (Visual Builder Cloud Service) for UI customizations.
- Strong knowledge of PL/SQL, ATP Database, and middleware technologies.
- Familiarity with SFTP, data security protocols, and solution architecture.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Oracle Process Builder and Visual Builder.
- Knowledge of Oracle Fusion APIs for advanced customizations.
- Experience in solution architecture for cloud integrations.
