About the Company
Design, develop, and implement software solutions using Rust and Java in highly scalable, low-latency environments. Enhance and maintain applications that support pricing, order management, eTrading, simulations, and transaction monitoring. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify business requirements and define detailed technical use cases. Translate complex business needs into robust and efficient technology solutions. Work closely with Quantitative Strategy teams to support yield-generation initiatives related to digital assets. Ensure code quality through profiling, performance tuning, testing, and adherence to best practices. Contribute to the evolution of our cloud-based architecture, ensuring security, scalability, and resilience (AWS preferred). Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers, promoting best practices in software development. Participate in the software delivery lifecycle, including CI/CD processes using tools like Git, Jenkins, and Docker.
Responsibilities
- 10 years of overall experience in Java development, including Rust.
- Proven experience in Java-based systems, especially in the context of financial services and eTrading platforms.
- Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems and shell scripting.
- Experience with transactional systems and understanding of financial client requirements.
- Familiarity with enterprise design patterns, microservices, and event-driven architectures.
- Expertise with big data technologies such as Snowflake, Kafka, or similar.
- Deep understanding of cloud environments, preferably AWS, including services like EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, etc.
- Solid experience in using CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automation tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
- Experience working on high-frequency trading or low-latency financial applications.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in financial services.
- Familiarity with modern DevOps practices and infrastructure as code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
