JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE
- Performs a wide variety of accounting functions which includes preparing, maintaining and monitoring various financial/productivity reports for outside regulatory agencies and auditors. Responsible for general ledger maintenance, reconciliation of accounts, internal/external financial reporting, fixed asset accounting, budgeting and ad-hoc financial analysis.

- Client Health Plans operates a portfolio of health plan products under several different legal structures: Intercommunity Health Plans, Inc. (IHN) is designated as a regional Coordinated Care Organization (CCO) for Medicaid beneficiaries; offers Medicare Advantage, Commercial Large Group, and Commercial Large Group PPO and EPO plans; SHP is also the third-party administrator for Samaritan Health Services’ self-funded employee health benefit plan. EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATIONS
- NOTE: This is a hybrid position. For that reason, a local traveller may be the best fit for this position.
- College-level coursework in accounting or related field required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in accounting preferred.
- Two (2) years experience doing the full scope of accounting work for a business required. Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in accounting may substitute for this experience.
- Experience with computers required. Experience with MS applications preferred.
