Design Engineer - Manufacturing

A rapidly growing manufacturing company is looking for a qualified Design Engineer to join their motivated team in Flower Mound, TX in advancing process technology with creativity, passion, and unmatched expertise at a global scale.

This is a direct hire opportunity offering annual bonus and salary increase.

Full Responsibilities:

• Generate assembly, weldment, and component detail drawings per the master Model layout.
• Perform mathematical calculations to verify dimensions and conversions.
• Manage budgeted hours and timelines to complete assignments on schedule.
• Support activities including, but are not limited to:
• Load BOMs and drawings into SAP to fill replacement parts orders.
• Investigate manufacturing problems related to project assignments, including verifying engineering rework.
• Confirm drawing changes have been made and inform the Production Engineering Manager.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or Associate degree in engineering-related field (Ex. Computer-Aided Design and Drafting or Architectural Design). Preferred
• 3 years of experience performing mechanical and/or engineering drafting and design work in Inventor, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD. Required.
• 3 years of manufacturing machinery design experience. Required
• Knowledge or experience with of sheet metal and welding practices. Required
