A well-respected company providing industrial-level crane, rigging, transportation, and engineering services for clients throughout the Northwest is looking to add a Safety Manager to their team of professionals.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement crane safety procedures and policies in line with OSHA regulations.
Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments of crane operations.
Coordinate and conduct safety training for crane operators and other relevant personnel.
Investigate any accidents or incidents related to crane operations and implement corrective actions.
Maintain and update all safety documentation and records.
Work closely with management and staff to foster a safety-first culture within the organization.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in crane safety.
Ensure all equipment is properly maintained and inspected regularly.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Safety Manager or similar role in a related field such as Crane, Heavy Equipment or Heavy Haul.
Excellent understanding of crane operations and safety regulations.
Certification in Occupational Health and Safety preferred.
Strong communication and leadership skills.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Ability to conduct training and safety drills.
High school diploma or equivalent. Bachelor’s Degree in Safety Management or related field is preferred.
Salary : $90,000 - $100,000
