Job Title: Infrastructure Solutions Architect 5

Location: Lansing, Michigan (Hybrid Schedule 2 days a week in-office: Tuesdays and Wednesdays)

Duration: 1 Year (with potential extension)

Position Overview: The State of Michigan is seeking an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect 5 to join their team. This role requires a highly skilled and experienced professional with expertise in software development, cloud solutions, and infrastructure architecture. The selected candidate will work closely with state teams to build and manage critical applications, leveraging modern cloud-based technologies and tools. The position requires a hybrid work schedule with two in-office days per week, so candidates must be willing to relocate or already be located in Lansing, Michigan.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and maintenance of infrastructure solutions, focusing on application design, development, and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline development workflows.
• Create and maintain applications using containerization technologies and container orchestration tools (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
• Work with cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS to implement and optimize cloud-based solutions.
• Implement and manage caching and messaging queuing systems like Redis or RabbitMQ.
• Ensure disaster recovery plans and security measures are in place and up to date.
• Collaborate with various teams to ensure the robustness, scalability, and security of applications and systems.

• C#: 10 years of experience in software development.
• Software Development: 10 years of experience building, deploying, and maintaining applications.
• SQL Server: 5 years of experience working with SQL Server databases.
• CI/CD Pipelines: 3 years of experience creating and maintaining continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
• Cloud Platforms (Azure or AWS): 3 years of experience using common cloud providers to design and implement solutions.
• Containers & Orchestration: 3 years of experience using containers and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Cache and Messaging Queuing Systems: 3 years of experience configuring systems like Redis or RabbitMQ.
• Security & Disaster Recovery: 3 years of experience creating and maintaining security plans and disaster recovery strategies.
