Job Title: Programmer Analyst 4 - AI/Java Developer

Position Overview

The Programmer Analyst 4 (PA4) - AI/Java Developer will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance, enhancement, and support of Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) applications, specifically Document AI (DOC AI) for Vital Records at the Client. This role involves developing, maintaining, and optimizing AI-based solutions to streamline critical business processes, ensure data integrity, and enhance system stability.

As a technical lead, the resource will provide guidance to developers, ensuring compliance with SEM/SUITE regulations while securing and maintaining critical applications. The role also includes participation in analytical assignments for system enhancements, integrations, and implementations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and optimize AI and Java-based solutions for DOC AI and other Google Cloud Platform applications.
• Provide technical oversight and guidance to developers supporting critical applications.
• Enhance system functionality, stability, and security in compliance with SEM/SUITE regulations.
• Implement and maintain machine learning solutions for document processing and chatbot applications.
• Perform unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to design and improve conversation flows and user experiences.
• Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and webhooks for backend communication.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
• Work with large datasets and data preprocessing techniques.
• Ensure compliance with industry best practices in cloud computing, AI development, and software engineering.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 3 years experience in AI/ML frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, or Scikit-learn.
• 3 years experience in microservices architecture.
• 3 years experience with NLP tools like SpaCy, NLTK, or Hugging Face.
• 3 years experience with OCR technologies like Tesseract, Google Vision API, or AWS Textract.
• 3 years experience with chatbot development tools (Dialogflow ES/CX, Google Assistant SDK, etc.).
• 3 years experience developing RESTful APIs and webhooks.
• 3 years experience with SQL, R, and/or Pandas for data processing.
• 3 years experience in cloud computing and software development.
• 3 years experience with Python, Java, and JavaScript development.
• 3 years experience implementing core AI and ML concepts.
• 3 years experience designing, building, and managing Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) solutions.
• 3 years experience with front-end frameworks (Angular, React JS, JavaScript).
• 3 years experience developing in the JBOSS Enterprise SOA environment.
• 3 years experience with CMM/CMMI Level 3 methods and practices.
• 3 years experience with agile development methodologies and test-driven development.
• 3 years experience creating CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Google Cloud Functions, App Engine, and Firestore.
• Strong understanding of neural networks, computer vision, and reinforcement learning.
• Proficiency in designing intuitive and engaging chatbot interfaces.
• Familiarity with debugging tools and performance monitoring.
