What are the responsibilities and job description for the Biologist ((In Vitro Cellular Assay/Epithelial Cells/Cell Culture/qPCR/FACS) position at Systems Ally?
M-F 40hrs/week (limited flexibility with schedule/hours). 100% onsite/lab position. Willing to work on holidays.
- Bachelors Degree in general biology with a focus in a specific discipline (i.e. cell biology, microbiology, molecular biology).
- Some experience in that discipline 2-4 years preferred.
- Familiarity with GMP and GLP and good documentation skills.
Experience Level = 3-5 Years
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Perform in vitro cellular assays to evaluate target biology and potential therapeutic agents using technologies like qPCR, MSD and FACS
- Generate data in a timely fashion
- Routine isolation and culturing of primary cells and cell lines
- General lab maintenance
- Effectively and accurately record and report experiment results
Qualifications
Requirements:
- Bachelors or Masters in cellular biology, immunology, or a related discipline with at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Experience in cell culture, sterile technique, and in vitro cellular assays
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization skills desired
Preferred:
- Experience working with epithelial cells/endothelial cells/fibroblasts preferred
- Experience in medium-throughput screening of small molecules and biologics preferred
- Proficiency in data reporting and analysis software preferred
- Experience working in a team environment to achieve goals and timelines
