Description
- The Product Development Tech Transfer Chemist/Professional– R&D (temporary/contingent role) will be reporting to the Dir, Product Development.
- The incumbent will be assisting the lab development, scale up and tech transfer efforts for a wide variety of topical skin care products, including both OTC and cosmetic treatments.
Main Areas of Responsibilities
- Perform process development, stability studies, scale up studies on the bench and pilot scale.
- Write process development reports and protocols for process qualification.
- Participate in process validation as needed.
- Interact with cross functional teams such as Quality, CMO, Project Management, Supply Chain etc. for coordinating R&D efforts.
Required Skills/Qualification
- 3-5 years of industry experience in process development and scale up of cosmetic products.
- Familiarity with bench formulation
- Validation Experience
- Cosmetic Industry experience
Preferred Skills:
- Manufacturing and statistical analysis.
Education
- BS in Chemical engineering, chemistry or equivalent
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $37.00 - $39.00 per hour
