SA-TECH supports the U.S. Army Sustainment Command’s Enhance Army Global Logistics Enterprise Logistics Support Services at Schofield Barracks, HI. We provide maintenance services in the form of above-brigade-level, field, sustainment, and limited depot-level maintenance support as well as transportation counseling services and handling passenger, equipment, and cargo movements for Army Field Support Battalion Hawaii’s (AFSBn-HAW) assigned tactical units and government affiliated civilian agencies.

We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse Specialist to join our team at the Modernization Displacement Repair Site (MDRS) at Schofield Barracks, HI and be responsible for a range of warehousing duties that require a deep understanding of material handling, storage plans, and safety procedures. This position involves verifying inventory, managing shipments, and ensuring proper documentation, while adhering to all Army regulations and guidelines.

Primary duties include (but are not limited to) :

Verify incoming materials against shipping documents, noting and reporting any discrepancies to the appropriate agency.
Prepare materials for shipment, ensuring they meet regulatory guidelines and customer specifications.
Operate Material Handling Equipment (MHE) to move, store, stack, and palletize materials efficiently and safely.
Maintain proper storage organization, routing items to designated storage areas and ensuring safe handling practices.
Regularly inspect stored materials, identifying and reporting any signs of deterioration or damage.
Assist with housekeeping tasks in the warehouse, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
Ensure all documentation related to receiving and issuing materials is accurate and in compliance with Army and company standards.
Help track and maintain accurate inventory records using systems such as GCSS-ARMY and Microsoft Office tools.
Support shipping / receiving operations, ensuring proper labeling, packaging, and handling of materials.
Adhere to safety protocols and maintain compliance with physical security plans.
Handle hazardous materials as required, using personal protective equipment (PPE).
May be assigned additional responsibilities related to environmental, safety, or security programs within the warehouse environment.

Work Conditions :

The role requires working in an outdoor warehouse environment, with exposure to varying weather conditions (heat, dust, cold, and occasional rain).

Overtime may be required as needed to meet operational demands.

Ability to lift 40 lbs. and perform physical tasks, such as stooping, bending, squatting, reaching, and carrying materials.

Ability to work in environments involving hazardous materials and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).

Requirements :

Education / Experience / Skills

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.

At least five (5) years of relevant warehouse experience (more is preferred).

Familiarity with the GCSS-ARMY system is highly desired.

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Experience operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE) is essential.

Relocation assistance is not provided and candidates must reside within commuting distance or indicate a willingness to relocate at their own expense.

Current Hawaii Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work / government / rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.

U.S. Citizenship required and you must be able to obtain and maintain a federal Secret clearance.

All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver Record, and Criminal Background Investigation.
