Finance Specialist - Payment Posting

Systems Design West, a leading EMS billing services company, is seeking a detail-oriented and highly motivated Finance Specialist to join our team in-office. As a Finance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in accurately posting payments and denials, researching payment discrepancies, and maintaining professional relationships with our clients. Responsibilities:

· Accurately post all payments for assigned clients, including checks, EFTs/ACH, and credit cards

· Process bank deposits for each client and maintain remote capture retention and shredding

· Provide daily deposit reports to clients and fulfill any additional reporting requests

· Handle collection payment posting and reporting to the agency

· Post returned items, NSF fees, and bill out new invoices

· Post all denials received from insurance providers

· Perform month-end balancing and reconciliation for clients

· Conduct payment research to identify and resolve payment discrepancies

· Bill out secondary, tertiary, and private balances

· Process all Levy payments

· Maintain documentation retention for audits

· Perform accounts receivable corrections

· Assist with payer enrollment requests

Qualifications:

· Demonstrated professionalism in verbal and written communication

· Above-average typing speed and familiarity with Microsoft Office

· Proven data entry experience

· High School Diploma required

· Strong computer proficiency to navigate multiple systems

· Ability to work independently with minimal oversight

· Customer service experience is highly desirable
