Systems Furniture Installations is looking for Full Time Lead Commercial Furniture Installers! Must have attention to detail, be a reliable team player, and 2 years of Lead Furniture Installer experience. Valid Driver’s License and dependable transportation is a must. JOB SUMMARY: This role is responsible for coordinating daily project operations of assigned installation teams to ensure projects are completed on-time and on-budget and within quality standards. Plan and direct the daily work for assigned teams.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee the daily operation of assigned work team; assign tasks and projects as needed to meet production needs; provide ongoing guidance, mentoring and training to team; provide input to leadership in performance management of peers; escalating issues to management as needed.
- Communicate with furniture dealer staff, general contractors and other vendors to ensure clear understanding of project requirements and the successful completion of each project.
- Ensure job site is meeting safety standards.
- Ensure product inventories and equipment are properly coordinated and accounted for to maximize efficiency.
- Read and respond to SFI client and coworker generated email within 1 business day
- Conduct special projects and support other departments, as assigned
- This includes all tasks included in installer job descrption
- Encourage company policies and engagement, and response to correspondence.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma, or equivalent
- 3 to 5 years of related work experience with progressive responsibilities
- Experience leading teams
- Demonstrated competence related to writing installation project and problem reports
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills and the ability to develop strong working relationships
- Self-Motivated
- Creative and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated high character and trust
- Knowledge of furniture systems and furniture installation process.
ENVIRONMENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Frequent walking, bending and kneeling
- Valid State drivers license for work related travel
- Ability to lift 50-100 pounds regularly
- Working in various site conditions ; construction sites, active office spaces, truck load/unloading outside in Wisconsin conditions
