Job Summary:
The Escrow Officer plays a pivotal role in overseeing the escrow process, ensuring smooth real estate transactions, and delivering high-quality customer service. This position is essential in managing the escrow team, handling closings, notarizing documents, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. Working closely with all parties involved in real estate transactions from initiation to completion, the Escrow Officer ensures accuracy and timely execution of all duties.
Role Description:
This is a full-time position that may be remote or based in the office. The Escrow Officer will be responsible for managing a team of escrow processors and assistants, conducting closings, and ensuring compliance with all regulations. The ideal candidate must be capable of handling a minimum of 50 files per month at a 90% proficiency rating.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the escrow process and ensure timely and accurate closings
- Supervise and provide support to the escrow team, ensuring that all members meet performance and compliance standards
- Prepare and notarize escrow documents
- Maintain strong communication with buyers, sellers, real estate agents, and lenders
- Review and process escrow files to ensure all legal and compliance standards are met
- Resolve any issues that arise during the closing process, offering quick and effective solutions
- Ensure the highest levels of customer service throughout the transaction process
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the escrow/title industry
- Experience in managing a team of escrow processors and assistants
- Proficiency with escrow management software and tools (Qualia, VPN, etc.)
Special Requirements:
- Licensed and certified as a Notary and Title Agent (as per regional requirements)
- Ability to process 50 files per month with a high proficiency rating

Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
