Power Platform Developer
Job Summary: The Power Platform Developer will play a vital role in designing, building, and optimizing applications and workflows that support business operations. This role is essential for ensuring the efficient automation of processes and the seamless integration of applications within the organization. The primary responsibilities include developing Power Apps solutions, creating automated workflows with Power Automate, and collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and test application functionality.
Key Responsibilities: * Design, develop, and maintain Power Apps applications, including Canvas and Model-Driven Apps. * Create and automate business workflows using Power Automate to streamline processes. * Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and transform them into effective Power Platform solutions. * Conduct comprehensive testing of applications to ensure quality, reliability, and user satisfaction. * Participate in Agile development sprints, contributing to planning, development, and retrospectives. * Utilize source control systems to manage code, ensure version control, and collaborate with team members. * Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint integration. * Provide training and support to users on Power Platform tools and functionalities.
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Power Platform development, including Power Apps and Power Automate. * Proven experience with SharePoint, including creating and managing lists and libraries.
Special Requirements: * Microsoft certifications related to Power Platform development (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate) are preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: * Proficiency in building Canvas and Model-Driven Power Apps. * Expertise in Power Automate for developing complex workflows. * In-depth knowledge of SharePoint and its integration with Power Platform tools. * Ability to gather business requirements effectively and translate them into technical solutions. * Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills. * Collaborative and able to work within an Agile framework. * Familiarity with source control systems such as Git or Azure DevOps.
Additional Desired Characteristics: * Experience with other Microsoft technologies, such as Power BI, is a plus. * Understanding of data integration and management using Dataverse. * Previous exposure to API integration and third-party connectors.
