Job Duties & Responsibilities
Strategy:
- Support product teams to solve customer problems and drive impactful results
- Use evidence-based skills to influence product direction and design decisions
- Conduct stakeholder workshops and create stakeholder maps
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement to enable Human-Centered Design (HCD)
- Translate stakeholder insights into actionable inputs for discovery
- Define discovery strategies that align with product goals
Execution:
- Lead research efforts to define product problems and solutions
- Apply mixed-methods research techniques to gather insights
- Prioritize and solve critical design problems using problem discovery frameworks
- Create UI designs using visual design principles and Homefield design system
- Participate in sprint planning and collaborate with team members during design and development cycles
- Collect feedback and monitor usage metrics to refine the product experience
- Build discovery objectives in collaboration with stakeholders
Development:
- Ensure seamless communication between designers and software engineers throughout the development process
- Advocate for user needs and communicate design vision to leadership
Minimum Education & Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, or related field
- 3 years of experience in product design, UX/UI design, or related roles
- Proven experience in delivering successful products with a human-centered design approach
- Strong portfolio showcasing design process and final product solutions
Special Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
- Proficiency in design tools such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe XD
- Experience with prototyping and wireframing tools
- Strong communication skills to present and explain design ideas
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Deep understanding of UX/UI design principles
- Experience with generative and evaluative research methods
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle and lean product management
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour
