Assembler/Production Worker

Job Summary:

The Assembler/Trimmer, Rotomold Products is responsible for assembling and trimming rotationally molded tanks according to manufacturing specifications. This role involves utilizing various tools and equipment to ensure high-quality production while following established work instructions, engineering drawings, and safety guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Test all tanks after the molding operation.
• Trim tanks to required specifications following molding.
• Assemble required products and inspect materials for compliance with manufacturing specifications.
• Use hand tools, power tools (such as screwdrivers and electric drills), torches, taps, and adhesives to assemble and handle tanks and components.
• Inspect final assembly and/or product to ensure all quality standards are met.
• Perform additional assembly support functions, including washing, testing, rotomolding, and repairs.
• Utilize the company-wide computer system to check stock, access engineering drawings, and track work orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Work overtime as required.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) or equivalent work experience.
• Previous experience in assembly work preferred.
• Experience in the fluid power industry or a manufacturing environment preferred.

Special Requirements:

• Willingness to obtain forklift certification is required.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to operate an overhead crane.
• Proficiency in using assembly tools and equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

Additional Desired Characteristics:

• Experience working in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance standards.

Work Environment:

• Frequent exposure to moving mechanical parts.
• Occasional exposure to fumes or airborne particles.
• Moderate noise level in the work environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.32 - $18.00 per hour
