We are Systems, LLC a leading manufacturer and designer of loading dock equipment. We continue to GROW and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization.
The Materials Handler is responsible for the receipt of all incoming materials, supplies, equipment, and returned goods. The Materials Handler is also responsible for using the forklift for routing and delivering materials to storage places or various manufacturing locations, as well as label and inventory items.
Description of Duties and Job Responsibilities
Check goods received to purchase orders or receiving slips, maintain records, and prepare receiving reports
Check quantity, type, size, part numbers, dimensions, etc. to properly identify materials
Route or deliver materials to storage or manufacturing locations
Responsible for labeling, storing, and inventorying items
Ability to process warranty items such as entering Returned Goods
Authorizations into database
Work with Purchasing and Inventory Control to facilitate accurate inventory levels and necessary adjustments
Cross-train in shipper position, responsible for the preparation of domestic and foreign shipments according to shipping requirements and specifications
Drive forklift and maintain necessary certification
Operate cranes and hoists
Safety sensitive position
Other duties as assigned
Preferred Qualifications
At least one year shipping / receiving experience in a heavy manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to work in heavy metals manufacturing industry
Basic proficiency in computer operations such as email, databases, spreadsheets, etc.
Sit down forklift experience preferred
Valid Driver's License
The pay range for this position is 18.75 base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.
