The Coordinator for Facilities supports the mission of Campus Recreation to provide unparalleled recreation programs, services, and facilities that support students in living active lives of meaning and purpose.
This position under the guidance of the Assistant Director of Facilities and Operations provides safe, clean, and welcoming recreational facilities for facilities to students and the university community. Responsibilities include assisting with all facility operations, including hiring, training, and supervising student staff, managing facility schedules for open recreation and events, monitoring facility maintenance and cleanliness, conducting assessment of operational and student learning outcomes, plus other job-related duties as assigned. The Facility Coordinator will also assist with development of policies and procedures and risk management processes.
This position requires a technical understanding of several different software programs, the ability to form good working relationships with other university departments and outside vendors, along with the ability to move the program forward over time.
