Job Title: Logistics Analyst
Job Description:
Utilizing analytical methods and a variety of tools to understand, predict, and/or control logistics operations and processes. Data management, analyzing performance, and identifying problems, and developing recommendations that support logistics management. U.S. Citizenship is required.
Multiple locations may include: Chicago, IL, Miami, FL, San Diego, CA, New York, NY, Boston, MA, Texas, and other states.
This position is fully mobile, requiring travel between sites as needed.
Duties and responsibilities:
Working knowledge of the governing supply systems, operations and processes, policies, quality, and other established guidelines. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Flexible, highly organized, excellent problem solving skills and being a team player is critical.
Support vendor/business partner relationships
Analytical ability to define and recognize any issues involved, to collect the necessary data to establish the facts, or recommend action based upon established guidelines
Conduct analysis and creating reports on metrics and forecasts
Monitor and, shipment details, verify causes of delivery delays, and respond to customer's inquiries and concerns
Manage the systems and procedures regarding shipping and delivery requests and scheduling, as needed
Track and prepare reports on inventory and stock supply levels
Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and ISO requirements
Fulfill order, following proper packing process and deployment of goods
Identify areas of improvement
Ensure accurate labeling and disbursement of equipment
Utilize web based logistics information systems to monitor the flow of inventory and track container
May be required to perform other duties outside of the supply role and other duties as assigned
Must be able to lift approximately 50lbs
Participate in safety training and adhere to safety protocols
Adhere to company’s QMS policies, procedures, and guidelines
US Citizenship is required
- Must be able to obtain and maintain a secret security clearance
- HS Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of experience; preferred experience in logistics, transportation and/or supply
- BS/BA with 2 years of experience; degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field
- Specialized training courses are desirable. Healthcare and safety courses are desirable
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
- Bilingual: fluent in English and Spanish is preferred
- Military experience is desirable but not required
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer and software/hardware systems as well as logistics

Experience
Required- BS/BA with 2 years of experience; degree preferred in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or related field
- HS Diploma or equivalent with 6 years of experience
- Fulfill order, following proper packing process and deployment of goods
- Experience in logistics, transportation and/or supply
