What are the responsibilities and job description for the Readiness Manager position at Systems Products and Solutions, Inc?
Provides support to the AMC logistics readiness program.
Drafts monthly reviews, assessments, and recommendations for the Total Army Readiness Review (TARR). Tracks the status of critical Equipment on Hand/Equipment Ready (EOH/ER) issues impacting readiness of war-fighting units across the total force.
Uses the Army Readiness-Common Operating Picture (AR-COP) to track the Status of Resources and Training Systems (SORTS) that are below readiness objectives.
- Execute the monthly TARR for the Army to include Supported Commands and AMC Direct Reporting Units
- Coordinate and receive draft detailed information for presentation into the TARR session
- Consolidate and complete the TARR rehearsal details and distribute them to action officers for presentation
- Collaborate with LCMCs to ensure all information concerning due outs from prior sessions are understood, discussed and worked to a solution
- Provide focus to AMC's efforts to improve Equipment Readiness (ER) and Equipment on Hand (EOH) for critical Brigades as units prepare to train and then deploy
- Coordinate EOH and ER issues with Action Offices prior to the TARR
- Provide final TARR briefing details to AMC senior leaders
- Coordinate with TACOM, AMCOM, ASC, JMC, DLA, supporting AFSBs, USAREUR, USARPAC and NGB to provide a holistic look at EOH and ER Readiness for these war-fighting units
- Provide guidance to TACOM, AMCOM, ASC and supporting AFSBs to discuss way ahead to improve EOH and ER readiness for units below the USR goals
- Adhere to the AS9100 and QMS policies, procedures and guidelines.
- Other duties as assigned.
- BS/BA degree with a minimum of 12 years’ experience in directing large analysis efforts in defense acquisition and sustainment programs.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills, including ability to write, edit and proofread variety of presentations, position papers and memoranda.
- Strong interpersonal, listening, and questioning skills able to interact effectively with senior Army Staff.
- Knowledge of the requirements of AR 220-1 Army Unit Status Reporting and Force Registration
- Experience in readiness reporting
