Description: STG is a SEI CMMi Level 5 company with several Fortune 500 and State Government clients. STG has an opening for Full Stack Java Developer with Mandatory ReactJs & Cloud Experience Position.
Please note that this project assignment is with our own direct clients. We do not go through any vendors. STG only does business with direct end-clients. This is expected to be a long-term position. STG will provide immigration and permanent residency sponsorship assistance to those candidates who need it.
Job Description:
Working as part of eCommerce team, you will build exciting capabilities that will help consumers connect with and purchase vehicles online. As part of the team, you will build amazing software that will help become the standard for how vehicles are purchased online. Continued to build new features and exciting capabilities to support the launch of upcoming vehicle lines – from legendary nameplates like Bronco to unannounced EV products for the future. This is a full-stack software engineering position leveraging ReactJS front end and Java Spring Boot on the back end. Even if you don't check all the boxes, bring your A-game and work with a great team to learn and build great products.
Skills Required:
Front-End: React (TypeScript preferred, Angular/TypeScript considered)
Back-End: Java/Kotlin hosted on GCP, Java/SpringBoot, Python scripts
Database: MongoDB, PostgreSQL
Methodology: Agile (two-week iterations, prioritized backlog, standard agile ceremonies)
Development Practices: TDD, extreme programming, paired programming
Cloud: GCP (open to AWS/Azure if they understand cloud deployments)
Design: Domain Driven Design, Event Sourcing, CQRS patterns.
General Requirements:
Full-stack individuals, open to those who lean towards either front-end or back-end but can operate on both sides.
Most work involves business logic; React work is lighter compared to the current team.
Education Required:
Bachelor’s degree in computer or data science, engineering, statistics, operations research, or other quantitative area.
