This is a hybrid position Troy, MI.

Responsibilities:
ABAP Development:
Analyze business requirements and translate them into efficient and maintainable ABAP code.
Develop new custom or modify ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, and workflows to automate business processes and meet specific needs.
Integrate API's using Product Integration (PI) middleware with SAP system
Conduct unit testing to ensure code quality and functionality.
Integrate custom developments with standard SAP functionality
Work closely with business analysts, functional consultants, and other developers to understand requirements and deliver effective solutions.
Document all development activities and system configurations.
Required Skills:
- 5 years of experience as an SAP ABAP Developer
- Proven experience in developing complex and robust ABAP programs using various ABAP objects (e.g., function modules, classes, reports).
- Solid understanding of SAP data structures and ABAP debugging techniques.
- Integration experience with SOAP Webservices API between SAP and Web portal application using Product Integration (PI) is a plus
- Knowledge of SOAP Webservices, API and WSDL
- Experience with SAP interfaces (e.g., BAPI, RFC) is a plus.
- Knowledge of SAP BASIS administration tasks, including user management, system configuration, and performance monitoring.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
