What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bookkeeper (Bilingual ENG/ESP) position at SYSTEMS X CORPORATION?
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
As a onsite Bookkeeper, you will take part in general bookkeeping activities, office administration support, and work closely with our CPA firm.
This includes:
- Prepare Vendor Checks.
- Expense Report Reconciliations.
- Research and resolve vendor invoice and payment issues.
- Bank Deposits.
- Invoice Customers.
- Process Customer Payments.
- Perform day-to-day A/R transactions.
- Maintain general ledger accounts.
- Resolve collection issues.
- Bank and Credit Card Reconciliation.
- Assist with the annual audit process.
- Analyze account data and generate financial reports.
- Assist budgeting and internal control systems.
- Maintain a complete filing system to support financial records.
- Calling vendors/suppliers for service estimates.
TECHNOLOGIES YOU WILL USE HERE
- Cloud-based Accounting Software.
- Cloud-based CRM.
- Google Cloud Suite.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS THAT COME IN HANDY
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in accounting with 1-2 years related experience is preferred.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative and meet deadlines.
- Excellent computer skills are essential; proficient in Microsoft Excel.
- Able to work autonomously and in a dynamic team environment.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge in Forecasting and Budgeting
IMPORTANT FOR YOU TO HAVE
- Minimum 1 year of Accounting experience.
- US Drivers License.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English and Spanish.
