Our client is seeking an experienced professional to lead the design and implementation of the SAP Production Planning, Shop Floor Management, and Plant Maintenance capabilities within SAP S / 4 HANA and related systems. This role will involve supporting both production-related incidents and service requests, as well as participating in new software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities. This is an excellent opportunity to join a fast growing organization and help lead an S / 4 HANA implementation while being onsite in Chicago on a hybrid basis.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee the functionalities of Production Planning, Shop Floor Management, and Plant Maintenance within S / 4 HANA.
- Deliver functional support for reports, interfaces, and system enhancements, including drafting technical design documents and detailed specifications for ABAP programming.
- Evaluate current business workflows and data to pinpoint areas for improvement, creating solutions that enhance organizational value.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, cross-departmental teams, vendors, and business partners to facilitate successful system implementations.
- Manage localization efforts for new mergers and acquisitions.
- Advise external consultants on localization procedures and specific project needs.
- Perform additional tasks as required.
