Cloud Network Engineer – Hybrid remote/onsite in Upstate SC

SYSTEMTEC is seeking a Sr. Cloud Network Engineer with an active AWS and/or Azure certification.

Required Qualifications of the Cloud Network Engineer:

• Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
• Must be comfortable with ONSITE work in the Upstate SC area (Greenville, Spartanburg, Anderson) and Columbia, SC on as-needed basis.
• MUST HOLD ACTIVE AWS and/or AZURE CERTIFICATION. This is a must-have.
• 5 years of experience in information security and engineering.
• Experience designing and maintaining infrastructure in AWS or Azure.
• Familiarity with major security compliance frameworks and building effective monitoring, logging, and auditing of production systems to ensure compliance with mandated compliance policies (e.g., NIST, HIPAA, PII, SOX, PCI, CMMC, CUI, etc.).
• Highly Preferred: Experience working with Cisco.

Responsibilities of the Cloud Network Engineer:

• Design and deploy highly available, scalable, and secure cloud infrastructure and apps with a focus on AWS and Azure Cloud.
• Design and develop automation to build cloud security accelerators and IP.
• Work with Security Operations teams to build and maintain SIEM, SOAR and XDR technology.
• Analyze and resolve configuration issues in development, test, and production environments.

Work Location: HYBRID REMOTE/ONSITE work as-needed in Upstate SC and/or Columbia, SC.
