PowerBI Developer—Partial ONSITE (Columbia, SC)/Partial Remote
SYSTEMTEC is seeking an experienced PowerBI Developer to assist our client on high-profile, enterprise initiatives.
Required Qualifications of the PowerBI Developer:
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
- Proficiency in Power BI Desktop and Power BI Service for report creation and publishing.
- Experience embedding PowerBI in custom applications.
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts and experience in building complex data models.
- Ability to write advanced DAX queries for calculations and data manipulation.
Responsibilities of the PowerBI Developer:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Build and maintain data models within Power BI using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and Power Query.
Design, develop, and publish interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI.
Ensure reports are user-friendly and meet business requirements.
Connect Power BI to various data sources, including databases, APIs, and flat files.
Perform data cleansing and transformation to prepare data for analysis.
Monitor and optimize dashboard performance and responsiveness.
Implement best practices for data visualization and reporting.
Work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and other stakeholders to understand reporting needs. Provide training and support to end-users and ITS on using Power BI.
Work Location: Partial ONSITE/hybrid schedule. Candidates will be required to travel to Columbia, SC on as-needed basis.
