IT Project Manager (On-Site 3 Days/Week in Columbia, SC)

SYSTEMTEC is seeking an IT Project Manager for a Hybrid (On-Site 3 Days/Week in Columbia, SC) opportunity. Candidate will lead several projects (one to five) in a strong matrix environment executing Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
Required Qualifications of the IT Project Manager:
- Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to provide sponsorship or work with Third-Party agencies.
- Bachelor or Associate’s Degree in any major highly desired
- 3 years of IT experience in a leadership capacity, including 2 years of experience leading two or more concurrent project teams
- Must be proficient with MS Applications including Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint Online, PowerPoint, Visio, Project, Teams, etc.
- PMP is desired
Responsibilities of the IT Project Manager:
- Lead several projects (one to five) in a strong matrix environment executing Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies
- Developing and monitoring project plans, communication plans, risk management plans, and project artifacts from project initiation to post implementation/closure.
- Ensures project deliverables are complete on time, on budget and within scope
- Responsible daily for the development, execution, and maintenance of project plans and project communications:
- Facilitating effective communications between all parties involved in the project, including meetings, correspondence/recaps, status reports and other project artifacts
Work Location: Hybrid. On-Site Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday each week in Columbia, SC is required.
