The successful candidate will play a critical role in advancing our protein engineering efforts through numerous techniques, including molecular biology, protein purification, Biolayer interferometry (BLI), and protein stability measurements. Ideal candidates will have a strong background and interest in the properties and functions of proteins and protein-protein interactions. Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
- Protein Purification: Perform affinity chromatography, ion-exchange chromatography, and size-exclusion chromatography using FPLC systems
- Protein Analytics: Conduct size-exclusion chromatography on HPLC systems to assess purity and stability
- Mammalian Expression & Cell Culture: Transfect mammalian cells for protein expression and maintain cell lines
- Molecular Biology: Utilize techniques such as Gibson Assembly, PCR, gel electrophoresis, DNA sequencing, and plasmid preparations
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze experimental data, generate reports, and present findings to cross-functional teams
- Collaboration & Innovation: Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to contribute to project planning and execution
- Lab Management: Maintain accurate records, ensure safety compliance, and support lab organization and operations
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biochemistry, molecular biology, structural biology, or a related field
- 2 years of laboratory experience, with at least 1 year of industry experience in drug development preferred. 1 years of hands-on experience in protein purification or molecular biology
- Proficiency in protein purification and handling is required
- Experience with mammalian expression systems is strongly preferred
- Strong background in molecular biology and biochemistry
- Familiarity with data analysis software and statistical tools
- Ability to maintain records within a laboratory information management system (LIMS)
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
