About the Role
We are seeking a RAMS Asset Management Lead to ensure the Service Delivery department provides successful implementation and management of the asset management strategy for Metro, Tram, and future network projects.
Missions/Main Duties:
- Support Delivery of RAM Strategies: Ensure systems meet or exceed performance requirements through effective stakeholder management.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance system RAM performance.
- Develop KPIs and Monitor Performance: Develop and monitor key performance indicators related to RAM and identify risk/opportunities inline with the Client's policies and procedures.
- Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Actions: Understand equipment failure investigations and manage subsequent corrective actions.
- Asset Maintenance Strategies: Focus on the generation and/or continual improvement of maintenance strategies and tactics.
- Technical Guidance and Support: Provide guidance, standardisation, and technical assistance to key stakeholders regarding issues preventing assets from having optimised performance.
- RAM Analysis and Execution: Conduct the effective execution and Reliability Availability Maintainability (RAM) analysis utilising methodologies such as FME(C)A, RCM.
- Data Integrity and Consistency: Ensure integrity of asset and engineering data to perform required analysis.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work in conjunction with other AM experts to ensure consistency of asset and technical processes.
- Change Coordination: Coordinate any changes to the asset management system ensuring that all stakeholders are consulted while assessing change requests from the Systems maintainer and the FM maintainer.
- Asset Performance Information: Ensure accurate and timely information on all aspects of asset performance.
- Engineering Standards: Assist in the generation and review of engineering and other standards for asset management in conjunction and consultation with other stakeholders.
- Auditing and Data Governance: Supports the Implementation of a formal auditing regime to ensure all assets are maintained to the engineering and operational standards and assist in implementing data governance framework to ensure the integrity, security, and proper use of the organisational data.
- Data Analytics: Utilises data analytical best practices to drive continuous improvement across various business functions.
Profile/Skills:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field) or a related discipline. Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in RAM or data analytics is a plus.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years of experience in reliability engineering or a related field, with a proven track record of improving system reliability and performance preferable from the railway industry.
- Reliability Engineering Principles: Expertise in reliability engineering principles, including FMEA, fault tree analysis, RCM, and reliability modelling. Proficiency with reliability testing tools and software.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information clearly and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- RAMS Knowledge: Extensive knowledge and expertise in the fields of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety (RAMS).
- Asset Management Knowledge: Extensive knowledge and understanding of asset management within a railway environment, engineering standards as applied to railway assets, and use of complex asset management tools.
- Communication and Auditing Skills: Skilled in oral and written communication, with demonstrated skill in conducting engineering and asset audits.
