In-House Engineer (Louver Roof Systems)

What You’ll Do: As our In-House Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing louver roof systems, collaborating with the sales team, and ensuring that each project exceeds client expectations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Design Mastery: Utilize AutoCAD to draft and design detailed louver roof systems that are functional, innovative, and aligned with client specifications.
• Pricing Precision: Provide accurate pricing estimates by factoring in material costs, labor, and other relevant variables, ensuring profitability while maintaining top-tier quality.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the sales team to understand client needs, ensuring smooth communication and accurate implementation of design concepts.
• Optimization: Analyze designs for structural integrity, aesthetics, and functionality, refining them to meet our high standards and optimize performance.
• Stay Ahead: Keep up with the latest product offerings from Azenco-outdoor.com, incorporating the newest solutions into your designs.
• Client & Contractor Liaison: Communicate effectively with clients, architects, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution and on-time delivery.
• Project Organization: Maintain accurate project files, drawings, and specifications to ensure consistency across all projects.
• Innovate: Contribute to the development of new products and design ideas, drawing inspiration from market trends and client feedback.
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience: A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Industrial/Integrated Systems Engineering.
• Technical Proficiency: Expert-level experience in AutoCAD (other CAD software experience a plus).
• Industry Expertise: Proven experience in designing complex systems, ideally within outdoor structures or related fields.
• Attention to Detail: Strong understanding of structural principles and materials, with a knack for pricing and cost optimization.
• Collaboration Skills: Excellent communication abilities with a focus on teamwork and client relations.
• Efficiency: Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with Apple products, AutoCAD, and project management software.

Job Type

• Full-time, in-office role. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM, with occasional nights and weekends.
  
  

Location

• Delray Beach, FL. Applicants must reliably commute or be planning to relocate before starting work.
  
  

Compensation

• Salary: $60,000 – $70,000 per year, based on experience, plus additional perks and benefits.
