Job Overview
Terminal operator technicians are responsible for loading and unloading ammonia, maintaining, and operating the facility.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
- Comply with all environmental, health and safety training of the company.
- Conduct routine industrial maintenance to keep machinery in optimal working condition.
- Work with on site contractors.
- Maintain and update appropriate manuals and records/paperwork accurately.
- Collaborate with team members to identify areas for improvement in operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following all safety regulations.
- On call rotation.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in industrial mechanics preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial maintenance practices is highly desirable.
- Ability to understand and follow operating procedures.
- Must have basic computer skills and be capable of data entry and information retrieval.
- Ability to read and understand schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Must demonstrate a commitment to safety and quality standards in all operations.
- Previous experience in a similar role or industry is advantageous, but not required.
- Read, write, communicate and comprehend the English language.
- Must pass background check and be able to obtain a TWIC card.
- Must live within 30 minutes of terminal.
