Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Pool/Slide Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and enjoyment of our guests at the pool and spray pad area. This position requires a proactive individual who can manage various responsibilities while providing excellent customer service in a resort-like environment.
Duties
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all guests and enforce pool rules and regulations.
- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
- Assist with conflict management among guests to maintain a friendly atmosphere.
- Maintain cleanliness of the pool area, including chairs, tables, and surrounding spaces.
- Set up and break down poolside events or activities as needed.
- Engage with children and families to create a welcoming environment, ensuring their enjoyment while at the facility.
- Collaborate with other staff members to coordinate events or special activities at the pool.
Qualifications
- Lifeguard certification is a plus but not required; willingness to obtain certification is encouraged.
- Strong conflict management skills to effectively handle guest interactions.
- Experience in food service or cash handling is beneficial.
- Public speaking skills are advantageous for engaging with guests during events or activities. (You cant be shy in this position).
- A background in theater or experience working with children can enhance guest interactions and overall experience.
- Must be able to work weekends and holidays.
