Hickory Tavern Bartender

Bartender:

Hickory Tavern is seeking an experienced bartender with a sincere passion for serving and interacting with people.

Functions:

• Maintains full knowledge of the menu, delivering Picture Perfect Food to every guest every time.
• Knows and adheres to Hickory Tavern drink recipes.
• Collects payment (credit cards, cash) for drinks and/or food served following company established accounting procedures for all transactions.
• Maintains Bar top/table appearance.
• Keeps Bar clean, sets up and breaks down service wells.
• Performs opening, running and closing side work.
• Adheres to all company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
• Assists other Team Members as needed.

• 
  Minimum of 1 year bartending experience.
• Ability to operate POS, make changes and accurately conduct credit card transactions and account for all monies at the end of each shift.
• Stand/walk 6 to 8 hours per shift.
• Reach, lift and bend, frequently.
• Able to deliver plates, food & clear the bar which may require lifting as much as 30lbs.
• Able to change kegs which may require lifting as much as 60 lbs. with a partner.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Ability to verbalize and clearly respond to Guests.
• Ability to be friendly and smile
