Scope :

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Customer Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will serve as the primary technical liaison between our company and clients. You will work closely with customers to identify and resolve product usage issues, provide technical solutions, and ensure the continuous improvement of product performance. This role requires frequent travel (approximately 80% of the time) to customer sites, where you will conduct site assessments, troubleshoot challenges, and work proactively to prevent future issues. Y ou must have experience in a can stock experience.

Responsibilities :

• Act as the primary point of contact for customers regarding product use, technical support, and troubleshooting in can stock and rolling mill environments. Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
• Travel to customer sites regularly (up to 80% of the time) to conduct in-depth assessments of product performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide on-the-spot technical support.
• Identify recurring issues with the product or its application, analyze root causes, and propose immediate and long-term solutions to improve customer satisfaction and product functionality.
• Provide guidance to customers on best practices for the optimal use of products, helping them to improve manufacturing processes and minimize downtime.
• Work with internal teams (engineering, product management, and R&D) to implement solutions for complex technical problems. Act as the voice of the customer to ensure product improvements align with user needs.
• Collect customer feedback, document technical issues, and provide detailed reports on site visits, findings, and solutions. Relay this information to relevant internal teams for further product development and support strategies.

Proactively identify potential issues before they arise and suggest preventive measures to customers to ensure the long-term reliability and performance of the product.

Requirements

Familiarity with rolling mill operations, can-stock production, or similar industrial processes is required.
