Position : Engineering Manager
Position Summary :
The Engineering Manager will lead the engineering team in developing, implementing, and improving manufacturing processes to enhance productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency in a furniture manufacturing operation.
Key Responsibilities :
Manage, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technical staff.
Oversee the design, implementation, and optimization of manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with product development teams to ensure manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
Use lean principles to identify and implement changes.
Develop capital expenditure proposals and manage engineering budget.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
7 years of experience in engineering roles within a product manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, equipment, and materials specific to furniture production.
