Production Supervisor - 1st Shift
Position Summary:
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily manufacturing operations, ensuring production goals are met while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards. This role requires a strong leader who can drive change, develop high-performing teams, and implement Lean manufacturing principles to optimize processes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leadership, problem-solving, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise production teams to meet or exceed production goals, quality standards, and safety requirements.
Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
Identify and implement process improvements using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.
Train, coach, and mentor team members to enhance their skills and performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, quality, and supply chain, to ensure seamless operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
3-5 years of supervisory experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment, preferably in packaging or related industries.
Strong ability to lead, motivate, and develop teams to achieve operational excellence.
Knowledge and hands-on experience with Lean principles, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ability to analyze issues, implement solutions, and drive process improvements.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
