Car Wash Director

Billion Dollar organization targeting an experienced Car Wash Director to join the team!

Role is hybrid three days onsite Long Beach

compensation $140-180k bonus

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development, execution, and communication of strategic sales and growth initiatives.
• Design and implement creative and effective marketing strategies for various car wash operations across different markets and customer segments.
• Track and report on sales performance, supply and vendor costs, repair trends, and the operational downtime/up-time of all car wash locations.
• Develop, monitor, and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) for car wash operations, identifying regional trends, forecasting sales and costs, and formulating action plans to drive growth. Collaborate with Retail Finance to present performance data to senior leadership.
• Manage vendor and supplier contract negotiations, ensuring compliance with service level agreements and maintaining strong, effective relationships.
• Oversee inventory management, including monitoring usage trends, costs, and ordering supplies to meet demand in a timely manner.
• Keep an eye on competitor activity and emerging technologies to ensureoperations remain competitive, deliver exceptional customer experiences, and align with profitability and growth goals.
• Cultivate strong communication and collaboration with internal teams, including Marketing, IT, Training, Retail Finance, Facilities Maintenance, and Retail Operations.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience in managing multiple car wash locations is required.
• Proven track record in developing marketing plans and tracking sales performance.
• Strong background in creating and implementing strategic plans.
• Solid understanding of car wash mechanics, with the ability to oversee diagnostics and service, is preferred.
• Experience managing P&L for a car wash business model is a plus.
• Prior knowledge of car wash tunnel controllers is an advantage.
• In-depth understanding of car wash operations, particularly In-Bay Automatic and Self-Serve, is required.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is necessary.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team and build effective relationships with customers and clients.
• Experience in RFPs, vendor sourcing, and contract negotiations is required.
• Familiarity with car wash construction and maintenance is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and establish strong working relationships with cross-functional teams

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $140,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year
