Executive Assistant | Marketing – Full Time
TF Powers Construction, a commercial construction company based in Fargo, ND, is looking for an Administrative/Marketing Assistant to join our team.
Duties | Responsibilities:
The Administrative/Marketing Assistant shall be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Office/Contract Administration:
- Greet and welcome guests and answer incoming calls.
- Update calendars and schedule meetings.
- Monitor bidding opportunities and work with project managers/estimators to create a bid schedule.
- Act as a point of contact for vendors, subcontractors, and various construction services teams and solicit quotes.
- Prepare forms such as subcontracts, change orders, and purchase orders.
- Execute clerical and general office duties such as setting up filing systems, data entry, typing, copying, ordering office supplies, and other administrative tasks for special projects as requested.
- Ensure appropriate internal contract processes and procedures are followed.
Marketing:
- Complete prequalification packages, collaborating with project managers within the organization to obtain updated/correct information.
- Create proposals and brochures utilizing Adobe Creative Suite to showcase company’s project portfolio and key personnel resumes.
- Create marketing material and collateral for events such as job/career fairs.
- Work with vendors to create company swag utilizing company’s branding and logo design standards.
- Update company website and social media sites on a regular basis.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities:
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while prioritizing competing deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to write and communicate in a clear and compelling manner, with a strong command of English grammar and editing as well as attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
- Must have intermediate to advanced working knowledge of Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing, or related degree preferred.
- Construction sector experience is a plus.
- Ideal candidate will have 2-3 years working in contracts & a Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or other related field. Additional experience may be a substitute for education.
