Physical Inventory Clerk
T&L Nursery, Inc. is located 30 miles east of Seattle, in the Sammamish Valley, between Redmond and Woodinville. For 38 years we have taken pride in producing the highest quality plant material for Garden Centers and Landscapers in the Pacific Northwest. T&L grows approximately 4 million plants of over 2500 varieties per year, making us one of the largest and most diverse growers in the region. Even with our success, we are still a small, privately-owned business with a focus on culture.
The Physical Inventory Clerk is responsible for being part of a team which helps in maintaining accurate inventory records through regular physical counts and reconciliation of inventory discrepancies. This role helps to ensure that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date, supporting the overall efficiency of nursery operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Be part of the team that conducts regular physical counts of inventory and reconcile discrepancies to counts and/or locations
- Update inventory records in the system to reflect accurate stock levels.
- Identify and report any crop issues with Growers & Sales
- Update Plant Status and our saleable inventory information to support sales
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Field and Greenhouse environments with exposure to varying temperatures, and outside work in the elements at times
- Regular standing, walking, and lifting of inventory items.
- Will train in use of ERP software, Inventory App and Access databases
- May be asked to travel to our secondary site (7 miles away) to help with Inventory tasks
· Organized, self-motivated, team player who can work well independently and as part of a team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical ability to lift and move inventory items as needed.
- Bi-lingual in English and Spanish a plus.
- Analytical and inquisitive, not afraid to ask questions or offer new ideas.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Holidays
- Weekends as needed
