T&M Associates is seeking an experienced, highly skilled Proposal Manager to join our Marketing Team, who can be based out of any of our NJ or PA offices. This position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining remote work with in-office collaboration.
As a Proposal Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and driving the entire proposal development process. You’ll leverage your expertise in communication, copyediting, and design to create compelling proposals and marketing materials that align with our client-focused objectives. You will manage proposal teams, coordinate schedules, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality proposals for a variety of clients including agency, municipal, and private-sector clients.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the architectural, environmental, engineering, and/or construction industries, and a deep understanding of marketing principles. In addition, you'll be responsible for maintaining and updating prequalification documents with state agencies, keeping marketing assets like resumes and project profiles up to date, and assisting in the use of T&M's CRM system (Deltek Vantagepoint).
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the full proposal development lifecycle from inception to submission.
- Edit, copyedit, and develop new proposal content.
- Ensure proposals are aligned with client needs and organizational standards.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and technical teams to gather required information.
- Manage proposal schedules, deadlines, and team coordination.
- Assist with updating prequalifications for state agencies (e.g., DPMC, NJDOT, NJEDA).
- Support the maintenance of marketing materials, including resumes and project profiles.
- Contribute to the effective use of T&M’s CRM system (Deltek Vantagepoint).
Qualifications:
- 8-10 years of proposal coordination or management experience, with a preference for A/E/C industry background.
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite products.
- Knowledge of Deltek Vantagepoint is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally at all levels.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
