T&M Associates has an exciting opportunity for a Safety Specialist 2 to join our growing Health and Safety team in Irvine, CA. In this role, the Safety Specialist will be responsible for collaborating closely with clients to assess potential risks and identify various hazards. Please note this position will require about 40% travel.

Responsibilities
- Works closely with teammates and clients to improve productivity, profitability, and safety culture by setting-up effective safety processes to drive improvements
- Assist clients in minimizing worker’s compensation losses and to develop and implement safety compliance programs in accordance with federal, state, and local regulations
- Complete water intrusion, mold and indoor air quality assessments throughout the Western Region of US
- Involved in setting-up effective safety processes to drive improvements. Reviews junior staff’s work for technical issues
- Industrial Hygiene qualitative and quantitative exposure assessment experience preferred
- Supports project management of EHS projects
- BA or BS in Safety, Occupational Science, Industrial, Mechanical/Chemical Engineering or related field is required
- 4-6 years of experience. ASP or CSP preferred
- Progressive experience in safety compliance in manufacturing, industrial and/or mechanical operations required
- Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety
- Experience in hazard identification, risk assessment and analysis methodologies and the use of common quantification tools
- Strong mechanical aptitude and experience-basic electrical, mechanical, etc. understanding is preferred
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office programs
