Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Owner's Representative/Senior Construction Manager to join our professional construction management team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of projects from concept/design to completion and closeout. They will work closely with clients, designers, and contractors to ensure projects meet quality, budget, and timeline objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Taking ownership of assigned projects and ensuring strong client relationships.
- Managing project schedules, budgets, and timelines.
- Navigating challenges, resolving issues, and making informed decisions to keep projects on track.
- Developing and fostering project-related communications with stakeholders.
- Managing project documents and coordinating reviews and responses to submittals and RFI's.
- Coordinating project meetings and facilitating actionable activities.
- Reviewing and confirming project requests for payment and change requests.
- Providing quality control through design and constructability reviews of project documents.
- Developing and updating project cost estimates.
- Guiding and mentoring junior construction managers to foster a supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or equivalent is required.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license and/or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) certificate is preferred.
- 10 - 15 years of experience managing projects for public clients with specific experience providing services as an Owner's Representative/Agency Construction Manager is preferred.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, superior organizational skills, and experience with Project Management Software's and Document management processes are required.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel between project sites.
