T&M Associates is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Water Engineer to join our dynamic team! The Senior Water Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and executing projects related to wastewater treatment, hydraulic design, and regulatory compliance. This role requires extensive experience in wastewater characterization, treatment process improvement, and engineering design. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial wastewater treatment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with clients and technical experts.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform comprehensive wastewater characterizations based on industrial practices, processes, and regulatory requirements.
- Identify and evaluate potential improvements in treatment processes and equipment to enhance performance and efficiency.
- Conduct wastewater treatment process calculations and assist in process modeling to properly size and configure treatment processes.
- Perform hydraulic calculations and develop system head curves for designing pumping systems.
- Conduct cost-benefit analyses for projects to ensure economic feasibility and optimal resource allocation.
- Design layouts and specifications for treatment system improvements, including equipment, pumps, piping, tanks, chemical feed systems, and process monitoring and control systems in collaboration with technical experts and other design disciplines.
- Evaluate and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements; prepare and submit regulatory permit applications as needed.
- Assist in construction-related activities including reviewing shop drawings and submittals, responding to RFIs (Requests for Information), preparing RFPs (Requests for Proposals), tracking project progress, reviewing contractor pay applications, and advising the owner on discrepancies and changes.
